Our integrated 2-semester program is designed to enhance proficiency in German and Western culture, develop essential university study skills, academic writing, and offer content-based coursework tailored to your chosen academic discipline.

2-Semester Condensed Program:

Intensive German Language Preparation Courses:

Courses:

• 4 semester-long courses in German as a Second Language
• 1 semester-long course in Western Culture (can substitute for SAT preparation)
• 1-2 semester courses in Studio Art
• 1-2 semester courses in Private Music Instrument Instruction (additional cost)

Program Structure:

• Courses run Monday through Friday, totaling 15-21 hours per week.
• Full-time program includes 4 courses per semester, aligning with standard U.S. university class times.

Excursions:

• Immerse yourself in local culture through various excursions related to history, art, music, and modern life.

Housing:

• Live with Austrian families or share a dorm room with an American student for a culturally rich experience.
• Breakfast included; family accommodations available for students up to age 26.

• 18 years of age at the program start

Program Cost (Per Semester):

• Application & Placement Fee: EUR 3000 (one-time)
• Tuition: EUR 4500 (per semester for 12 credit hours)
• Academic Transcript Fee: EUR 275 (per semester)
• Room & Breakfast: EUR 2656 (per semester)
• Austrian Health & Liability Insurance: EUR 292 (per semester) (mandatory)
• German Language Proficiency Test: EUR 100-200 (depending on the test center)
• Private Music Instrument Instruction: EUR 700 per semester (12 hourly units)

• Tuition covers courses, related excursions, a day trip to Bavaria, and various local excursions.
