About the Programme

By pursuing the ARU Business Management programme, students will get a thorough grounding in areas that underpin all successful modern organisations, including human resource, operations, marketing and finance. Students will also explore current issues in the world of business framed within the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution, such as the Internet of Things, globalisation, sustainability, convergence of emerging technologies and social change. Students will also undergo workplace experiential learning during an internship with a commercial firm during the industrial training module of this programme.

Throughout your Business Management degree, you will also benefit from lectures and seminars on block chain, data analytics, machine learning, resume preparation, job-hunting, using social media to enhance your professional profile and more.

Entry Requirements
Into Year 1
A-Levels: Minimum pass in any two subjects, and a pass in Mathematics and English O-Levels/equivalent
or
STPM or any equivalent qualification: Pass with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects, and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level/equivalent
(The requirement to pass Mathematics and English subjects at SPM level for candidate in category STPM/STAM/equivalent can be waived should the qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with equivalent/higher achievement.)
or
Foundation or any equivalent qualification: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0
or
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Pass with a minimum Grade B in 5 subjects, including Mathematics and English

Into Year 2
Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5 of MQF) or any equivalent qualification: Pass with a minimum CGPA 2.0
or
Diploma in Accountancy / Diploma in Business from Imperium International College: Pass with a minimum CGPA 2.0
or
Any other equivalent Diploma: Pass with a minimum CGPA2.0
(Note: For non-IIC diploma programmes, the entry into year 2 will depend on the number of exemptions granted)

IELTS – 6.0

Assessment and Examination
A combination of coursework, projects and final examinations.
